Pensive Stare - Portrait Drawing

Graphite on paper. Drawn on 14/12/2023.

I found this 40 minute drawing to be a great excercise in producing an accurate portrait drawing. My focus was on getting the proportions of the face correct, and using darker tones to give a better sense of form. 

Medium: Graphite pencil on 70gsm white paper.

Dimensions: A3 (approx. 300mm x 420mm)

This piece is supported with a thick cardboard backing and packed within a cellophane bag. I have signed the back of the piece.
